A report by Yonhap News reveals that the Samsung Electronics is planning to unveil a pair of augmented reality (AR) smart glasses alongside the Galaxy S25 series of smartphones. This follows the trend of Samsung introducing new products at smartphone launch events, similar to the unveiling of the Galaxy Ring at the Galaxy Unpacked event earlier this year.

The smart glasses are expected to be revealed at the upcoming Galaxy Unpacked event in January 2025, potentially through a video or image. While the announcement may occur during the event, the wearable device is not expected to be available for sale until Q3 2025.
The upcoming Samsung smart glasses are expected to resemble lightweight sunglasses, similar to Ray-Ban Meta smart glasses, and will not feature displays like other AR smart glasses.
