Realme 12+ 5G Appears On TENAA Certification Revealing Features And Design Ahead Of Official Launch

Realme made headlines earlier this week with the launch of the Realme 12 Pro and Realme 12 Pro+ in India. Now, it seems the company is gearing up for the introduction of the Realme 12 and Realme 12+ 5G. Both models have been identified on the Indian BIS website, indicating a potential imminent launch. Adding to the anticipation, the Realme 12+ has recently obtained TENAA certification, further hinting at an upcoming release.

Realme 12+ 5G TENAA Listing

The Realme 12+ 5G, identified with the model number RMX3866, has surfaced on the TENAA certification website, revealing key specifications. The phone is expected to feature a 6.7-inch AMOLED display with a resolution of 2400 x 1080 pixels and a punch-hole cutout for the selfie camera.

Powered by an octa-core processor clocked at 2.66GHz (chipset details undisclosed), the listing indicates multiple RAM and storage configurations: 6GB/8GB/12GB/16GB RAM and 128GB/256GB/1TB storage options. The dimensions are projected to be 162.95 x 75.45 x 7.87 mm, with a weight of 190 grams.

In the camera department, the Realme 12+ 5G is expected to boast a 50MP primary sensor, an 8MP ultrawide lens, and a 2MP macro lens. For selfies and video chats, a 16MP front camera is anticipated.

The phone could house a 4880mAh rated battery, likely marketed as a 5000mAh cell, ensuring substantial power for extended usage.

The images accompanying the TENAA certification reveal a distinctive circular camera module on the back of the Realme 12+ 5G, housing the triple camera sensors. The phone is designed with a leather back panel, reminiscent of the Pro models, and features a metallic-vertical strap in the middle, contributing to its unique aesthetic.
