The rugged tablet boasts an 8-inch display with substantial bezels and three physical buttons, Menu, Back, and Home, designed for glove-friendly control. Featuring Corning Gorilla Glass 5, it promises enhanced display protection, accompanied by a single front camera. The MIL-STD-810H-certified device houses a 13MP rear camera with an LED flash.

According to FCC, the tablet is set to include an S Pen stylus with a customizable programmable key. It ensures IP68 protection, aligning with the rugged nature of the device. Beyond hardware, the Galaxy Tab Active 5 will incorporate Samsung Knox security, face recognition, and fingerprint scanning.
