Samsung announces the integration of its suite of Galaxy AI features across its products, including the Galaxy S23 lineup, Galaxy S23 FE, Galaxy Z Fold 5, Galaxy Z Flip 5, and Galaxy Tab S9 family. The move underscores Samsung’s commitment to making AI a central component of its mobile offerings, extending beyond just its latest releases.

March Rollout Scheduled

Scheduled for a software update in late March, Samsung aims to bring Galaxy AI features to over 100 million Galaxy users this year. T.M. Roh, president and head of Samsung’s mobile experience business, revealed this initiative, emphasizing Samsung’s dedication to democratizing advanced AI capabilities across its user base.

Galaxy AI encompasses a range of AI-powered features debuted on the Galaxy S24 series, including Generative Edit for photo manipulation, Chat Assist for text transformation and translation, Circle to Search for intuitive Google searches, and Live Translate for real-time phone call translations.

Samsung, alongside other tech giants like Google, is prioritizing the integration of generative AI into smartphones, enabling devices to create content or responses based on training data. Galaxy AI represents the culmination of Samsung’s efforts in this domain, marking a significant advancement in smartphone AI capabilities.
