Google Gemini Is Now Available For Free In India; Here’s How You Can Get It

Google has introduced a new offering for Google One subscribers, granting access to Gemini Advanced, the premium tier powered by the Ultra 1.0 model, Google’s latest and most potent large language model.

Named the ‘Google One AI Premium plan,’ the announcement was made via a blog post, revealing that subscribers can now utilize Gemini across Gmail, Slides, Docs, Sheets, and Meet without additional charges.

Gemini Advanced boasts enhanced capabilities, excelling in intricate tasks and processing various inputs such as text, code, and images. It can comprehend, generate, and elucidate code across multiple programming languages, showcasing superior reasoning abilities and adherence to instructions compared to the free tier.

In addition to advanced AI functionalities, the new Google One plan offers 2TB of storage, access to Google experts, and advanced image editing features like Magic Eraser, Portrait Blur, and Colour Pop. While these features are accessible in over 150 countries, they are currently limited to English language support.

Currently, Google is offering a 2-month free trial for the Google One AI Premium plan, following which users will be required to pay Rs 1,950 per month. Although the new plan may not be visible in the Google One app, it is accessible under the ‘Plans’ section on both the Google One mobile and desktop websites.
