Motorola Launches Moto G15 Series With Impressive Battery Life; Check Out Price And Specs

Motorola has just unveiled three new smartphones as part of its Moto G series: the Moto G15, Moto G15 Power, and Moto G05. These budget-friendly models are all about long-lasting battery life, making them ideal for users who need a phone that can keep going throughout the day. Additionally, they’re the first Moto G devices to come with Android 15 pre-installed, offering a fresh and modern software experience.

Moto G15 and Moto G15 Power

The Moto G15 and G15 Power are quite similar, with the main difference being the size of their batteries. The Moto G15 Power comes with a 6,000 mAh battery, while the regular G15 has a 5,200 mAh battery. Because of this, the Power variant is a bit bulkier- at 8.8 mm thick and weighing 203g- compared to the G15’s slimmer 8.2 mm thickness and 190g weight.

Both phones sport a 6.72-inch LCD screen with Full HD+ resolution, offering bright and clear visuals. The front of the phones features a punch-hole cutout for an 8 MP selfie camera, and the back houses a 50 MP main camera and a 5 MP ultrawide lens, ensuring users can snap high-quality pictures, whether it’s a close-up or a wider scene.

Internally, both phones are powered by the MediaTek Helio G81 processor, a solid LTE chipset with a 2 GHz octa-core CPU and 4 GB of RAM. When it comes to storage, both devices offer a choice of 128 GB, 256 GB, or 512 GB, with an option to expand via a microSD card. This means there’s plenty of room for apps, photos, and videos.

For connectivity, these phones have a lot to offer: dual SIM support, a 3.5 mm headphone jack, FM radio, and NFC (available in some regions). They also feature a vegan leather back panel, which gives the phones a premium feel. The Moto G15 and G15 Power come in three color options: Gravity Gray, Iguana Green, and Sunrise Orange.

Moto G05

The Moto G05 shares a lot in common with the G15 models, particularly in terms of the processor and design. Like the others, it’s powered by the Helio G81 chipset and comes with 4 GB of RAM, but it has fewer storage options, offering either 64 GB or 128 GB of internal storage. The G05 also has a slightly smaller 6.67-inch LCD screen with HD+ resolution, a step down from the Full HD+ display on the G15 and G15 Power.

The rear camera setup on the G05 includes a 50 MP main camera, but instead of the ultrawide lens found on the G15 models, it has an auxiliary sensor that isn’t as useful. The front camera is the same 8 MP shooter, providing decent selfies.

As for durability, the Moto G05 is IP54 rated, meaning it’s resistant to dust and splashes of water. Like the other models, it also supports dual SIM cards, microSD storage expansion, Bluetooth 5.4, and NFC (in select regions). The G05 comes in two colors: Forest Green and Plum Red.

The Moto G15, G15 Power, and G05 are great options for those looking for affordable smartphones with strong battery life and modern software. While they may not compete with high-end devices, they pack a lot of value, especially in terms of their battery performance and camera capabilities. Motorola hasn’t yet revealed the exact pricing or launch dates for these devices, but they’re expected to be available in Europe, the Middle East, Latin America, and Asia Pacific in the near future.
