Samsung introduced the Galaxy Watch 7 and Galaxy Watch Ultra at the Galaxy Unpacked event in July, notably without Pro and Classic variants. Now, the company appears to be working on a new Galaxy Watch 8 Classic, as it was recently spotted in the GSMA database, possibly featuring a rotating bezel. Additionally, a Fan Edition Galaxy Z Flip smartphone was also listed. Both devices are expected to be officially launched in the second half of 2025.

As per a report by Smartprix, a listing for the Galaxy Watch 8 Classic was spotted on the GSMA IMEI database, featuring the model number SM-L505U. This aligns with Samsung’s existing model numbering for the Galaxy Watch 7 and Galaxy Ultra, suggesting the new model could be part of the upcoming lineup. The publication also shared a screenshot of the alleged listing, confirming the “Classic” moniker.

Earlier this year, Samsung launched the Galaxy Watch 7 series without the Classic or Pro editions, introducing the Galaxy Watch 7 in two sizes alongside the new Galaxy Watch Ultra. Previous Classic models have been known for their physical rotating bezels, indicating that the upcoming Galaxy Watch 8 Classic might revive this popular feature.
In addition to this, Smartprix also spotted the Galaxy Z Flip FE in the GSMA database, listed with the model number SM-F761B, where the “B” indicates the international version. The Galaxy Z Flip FE is expected to debut as a budget-friendly foldable phone alongside the Galaxy Z Fold 7 and Galaxy Z Flip 7 next year, likely powered by Samsung’s in-house Exynos 2500 chipset. This model is expected to incorporate the powerful Exynos 2500 series chipset, aiming to deliver a robust performance at a more accessible price point.

Do note, Samsung’s current foldable lineup is powered by Snapdragon mobile platforms, with the latest Galaxy Z Fold 6 and Galaxy Z Flip 6 featuring the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 Mobile Platform for Galaxy.
